DeerWood is family owned and located in Beaverton, Oregon between the north Oregon coast and Mt. Hood.
Designer and woodworker Brad Avakian has spent a lifetime exploring the Pacific Northwest. His creations reflect a closer connection to our natural environment.
The Oak, Western Red Cedar, Maple, Alder and Douglas Fir that provide the wood for these pieces are all hand selected, kiln dried and locally grown and milled. Textured iron and antique cast iron legs are of the highest quality.
Every deer antler has its own distinct shape and personality. Their artistically presented curves and points add a unique dimension to each piece.
Each year, deer shed their antlers between December and March and then immediately begin growing a new set.
DeerWood uses only real, naturally shed mule and white-tailed deer antlers that have been collected in the wild.
Each piece is carefully crafted with great attention to detail and creativity, ensuring yours will be a one of a kind heirloom.
